Everything You Need to Explore Confidently
This directory is my public rolodex — hand-selected, not scraped. I built it so I could keep everything in one place as I search for the best treks, walking holidays, gear, training, and trail-ready resources for women over 50. If that sounds like you, you might find it useful too.
Every listing caught my interest and is the kind of business I’d text a friend about. That means it grows more slowly. And that’s the point.
New listings are added daily. Subscribe to the newsletter to see what’s new each week.
Browse the categories and find exactly what you need — or discover something you weren’t expecting.

Meet Your Fellow Explorer
Hi, I’m Georgee, and I know that feeling of standing at the crossroads of a dream and a doubt.
In 2013, I was sitting in a tiny plane flying toward the Himalayas for a trek to Everest Base Camp. It took years of “wondering if I could” before I finally said, “Yes, I’m going.” I didn’t go because I was brave – I went because I was tired of waiting. I was tired of being stuck in “someday” thinking while my dreams gathered dust.
On that trail, nature stripped away the noise. The mountain didn’t care about my age or my doubts. And somehow, in the quiet, I found a version of myself I thought I’d lost.
I created She Can Explore to be a resource, a cheerleader, and an inspiration for your journey. It’s a space for women like us who are curious, maybe a bit restless, and ready to see what’s possible.
I’m a fellow explorer who knows that when you have the right support and the right preparation, any adventure is possible.
